Halo Bang, madu ini dari mana?

Madu saya asli dari Cirebon. Yang hitam lebih pahit tapi dua-duanya enak banget.

Oh iya kelihatannya memang enak. Jadi beli dimana?

Ini enggak dibeli, saya ambil sendiri semua.

Betul, saya di sini karena ada Imlek.

Artinya besok pulang ke sana?

Ya. Saya cuma di Jakarta kalo hari raya kayak gini. Natal saya ke Katedral, kalo Idul Adha atau Idul Fitri ke Istiqlal, 17an ke Monas.

Sepadan ya bolak-balik begitu?

Oh iya, ada bus khusus untuk pedagang ke Jakarta dari sana, dan saya selalu jual cukup banyak kalo tanggal merah.

Jadi madunya ambil dari mana, di hutan?

Ya dari hutan ada banyak, tapi juga dari rumah orang. Kalo gitu saya bayar 100rb per sarang.

Harus pake asap dan lain-lain ya begitu?

Oh enggak, biasanya ambil langsung aja. Selama sarangnya enggak dihancur lebah tetap tenang. Yang ini masih muda ya, jadi bahkan enggak ada sengat.

Ah, jedi lebih aman di dalam busnya ya.

Ya, tapi tetap harus ditutup kan!

Yeah, from the forest I get a lot, but also from people’s houses. In that case, I pay them 100 thousand per nest.

Oh no, normally I just collect it with my hands. As long as the nest isn’t destroyed the bees will stay calm. These ones are still young, you see, so they don’t even have stings yet.
